Beyond-use dates
How long a reconstituted vial is conventionally used for, by diluent. The answer differs by vehicle, which is why a single site-wide number is wrong for half of them.

What this is, and is not
These are storage conventions for the diluent — how long the water is considered good for once punctured. They are not a claim about how long any particular compound stays stable in solution. That is a separate question, and it reads "not on file" for most of the corpus.
Why it is derived rather than fixed
Bacteriostatic water contains benzyl alcohol as a preservative, which is what makes repeated puncture acceptable and earns it the 28-day convention. Sterile water and plain saline contain no preservative and do not get that window at all.
A site that prints one number for every compound cannot explain why. The nearest competitor states "4 weeks" for one compound and "14–28 days" for another under identical conditions, with no reason given — because the number is attached to the compound instead of the vehicle.

- Sterile Water for Injection — Unpreserved. Single-use only — discard after one draw.
- Sodium Chloride 0.9% — Unpreserved isotonic saline. Single-use unless preserved.
- Dilute Acetic Acid — Used for peptides requiring an acidic vehicle for solubility.
